Objective
The goal of this training is to provide these people with the know-how to respond to any dangerous incidents in a safe and effective manner. Course curriculum follows US OSHA 1910.120q requirements set out in legislation for hazardous material emergency responders. This is the final 16 hours required for completion of HAZWOPER Technician training.

Technician Level Emergency responders are trained to deal with emergency incidents involving hazardous materials in an offensive manner. This course is the final 16 hours of the training. The Operations level training is a pre-requisite. The National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) recommends effective training for Emergency Response. Magellan courseware is based on United States HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response OSHA 1910.120) and follows National Fire Protection Association (NFPA 472) Standard for Professional Competence of Responders to Hazardous Materials Incidents in specifying necessary skill sets for achieving competency.
